Computer Classes at SER

Clients must call 703-750-1936 to register for a class or email us for further information. Classes are available only to currently registered SER clients.

Each class is limited to 6 participants, so you receive lots of personalized attention. Additionally, there is almost unlimited, personal contact with the instructor. Each student has a computer to use during each class. More details.

The Word and Excel classes are for clients who have moderate computer skills and little or no experience using Microsoft Excel or Word. If you are not comfortable using a computer, you should take our free PC Basics class. (See below.)

Excel Class —For $50.00 you get six hours of training - 3 sessions of two hours per class. (You must attend all three sessions.) Each class is held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. If you're interested in taking this class, call us at (703) 750-1936 to be put on the list to be notified when the next class is scheduled.

MS Word 2010 Class — SER is introducing a Word 2010 class on the Windows 7 operating system. For $75 you will receive 10 hours of training, 5 2-hour sessions. Actively registered SER clients who are interested in taking the course should call SER at (703) 750-1936 to be put on the list for the next scheduled class..

PC Basics - This free two-hour class is geared towards those who have not used a personal computer before or who have a low comfort level. If you need this class, please call us at (703) 750.1936.
