Senior Employment Resources (SER)
is a job placement service that matches companies with job seekers age
50 and above who live in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington,
D.C. SER is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives
a small portion of its funding from Fairfax County. SER is an equal

POLICY
CHANGE: Effective 06/20/08, SER will only be serving
seniors living in the following places:
Alexandria,
VA
Arlington County, VA
Fairfax County, VA
Falls Church, VA
Meetings
of the Job Search Workshop are
held the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting is
Tuesday, September 2 — "Where To Find Jobs" —
with Donna Brand.
Classes
at SER
SER is taking the names of anyone interested in: Computer
training — MS Word or MS Excel.
The MS Word classes are $75 for ten (10) hours of instruction
and the MS Excel classes are $50 for three (3) two-hour
sessions.
Next Excel class is
on Tuesdays, Sept 9, 16 and 23 from 5:30-7:30 in SER office.
Cost $50. We have 3 slots left. If interested call Sue at the office
